25/01/2019 UES awarded full Gas Industry Registration Scopes (GIRS)

A great start to the year – UES has now been awarded full accreditation for the Construction/Commissioning/Connections (CCCR) scopes under the Gas Industry Registration Scheme (GIRS), operated by Lloyds Register. This enables UES to carry out construction and connection activities on gas pipeline projects throughout the country.

The final Lloyds audit took place on Friday 18th January 2019 on a large commercial/industrial development project in Liverpool. Our construction team included our project manager, gas network engineer and installation team, who between them satisfied each and every aspect of the robust GIRS audit regime.

UES is now firmly positioned to provide electricity and gas connections for all types of projects and we look forward to combining our expert electricity network knowledge with gas network capabilities.
